The book efficiently portrays Indian society's conservatism. The role of one's family in one's life, is given importance, in this book. Friendship is another element well-explored. The story is packed with drama and believable characters.
However, the narrative skills need to be worked upon. Also, the book is poorly edited. The plot had it's nooks too.
Overall, It was an enjoyable read.
