Rhubarb extract is one of the core products of Pincredit. The conventional rhubarb extract refers to Rheum Palmatum L.. Rheum officinale can also be used as raw material to improve the content of chrysophanol. China Pharmacopoeia (2015 Edition) stipulated that the total anthraquinone of Rhubarb extract should not less than 0.8% (calculated by emodin and chrysophanol). The product mainly serves pharmaceutical health food production enterprises as the raw material of products for clearing away heat and loosing the bowels, invigorate the blood circulation and removing blood stasis.
Rhubarb extract selects dry roots and rhizomes of Polygonaceae Rheum Palmatum L. or rheum officinale. Harvest when stem leaf withered in the late autumn or before sprouting in the early spring, remove fine roots, scraping the skin, cut into petals or sections, and dry the raw material. After settling the raw materials and remove the impurities, put them into pot, add 12 times mount of solvent, reflux and extract for 3 times with temperature controlled between 75℃-85 ℃, extraction time for 3 hours, 2 hours, 1 hour respectively, filter the extract, merge the filter liquor of the 3 times, concentrating to extractum under reduced pressure with the relative density of 1.10-1.20 (room temperature), spray dry, destroy into 80 mesh powder, entering warehouse after packing and testing, then rhubarb extract is obtained. For high content, extraction, chromatography, crystallization and other processes are further required.
